The Prelude was part of Honda’s lineup for nearly 25 years, and the final version that debuted for 1997 was updated for 1999 with more power, a revised grille, and a new cabin air filtration system. Canadian-market Preludes such as this one differed slightly from their U.S.-market counterparts with standard heated seats and a larger windshield washer fluid reservoir.
The base Prelude uses a 2.2-liter “H22A4” inline-4 to deliver 195 horsepower and 156 lb-ft to the front wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission with a manual shift mode.
